DO NOW: Comment Against Trump Administation Attack On Persons Applying for Legal Asylum

The Trump Administration is attacking people applying for legal asylum by proposing a rule that would require them to wait a full year before they could work to support themselves, AND that would allow the Administration to stop accepting applications if it isn’t processing them quickly enough. The first change is irrational: people who are able to work should be allowed to work.
The second change is a transparent plan to stop accepting new asylum applications through the subterfuge of slow-walking existing applications.
