Free Tax Filing Options

I tried both of the free tax filing options the IRS.gov website offered me: Turbotax and FileYourTaxes.com
Turbotax was more intuitive, as it calculated my itemized deductions by asking me about them. FileYourTaxes simply showed me Schedule A and suggested I fill it out.
However, when it came time to file, "free" Turbotax wanted a $39 upgrade to actually file the Schedule A, whereas FileYourTaxes did it for free.
I'm not going to tell you what to do, but you might start with Turbotax. If it recommends you use your standard deduction, fine, but if it recommends you itemize and asks for your money, run FileYourTaxes in a new window and copy the itemization information that Turbotax calculated for you.

Emailing A Tool To The ISS

The International Space Station's 3-D printer completed the first phase of a NASA technology demonstration by printing a tool with a design file transmitted from the ground to the printer. The tool was a ratchet wrench. https://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/station/research/news/3Dratchet_wrench

Energy-efficient Stairmaster

I didn't realize that the Route 125 bus was canceled this morning, so I waited 40 minutes and nothing came. Eventually, one of us waiting at the stop suggested taking the 128 up to the gas station, where we could take the 120. While waiting at the gas station bus stop I saw this staircase.

Yoga Dreams

Every morning for the last year or more I have done 10-20 minutes of yoga, following a YouTube video (except Saturdays when I have a morning class at the Y).

This morning I dreamed that I was doing my yoga, and then awoke. I felt very relaxed, but I did my yoga video anyway.
