High School Seminary Congratulations Telegram

BEFORE EMAIL/FACEBOOK/INSTAGRAM/FACETIME/MINDMELD: When you graduated from high school, distant relatives would send a Telex or telegram (1973).
I'm not sure why they made such a big deal over this, except that maybe the seminary thing was important to them. It was not to me; I went to the place to escape my father's drunken rages. But of course, that was never discussed.

Plants Today

I love bluebells. I'm not sure how to get more except to keep these free of that awful morning glory. I'm glad I painted this part of the foundation; the flowers look much nicer against the white background. 

I learned this weekend that the miner's lettuce that overrun one of my casks is edible. Yay!

The money plants are doing great and need thinning! I offered this one for free on Facebook and it went instantly.

I planted a tomato today in a half-cask almost overrun with miner's lettuce, where I had planted some little green onions a while ago. It's a salad!

Visiting Sharon at the Silver Cloud

My sister Sharon is resting and recovering at the Silver Cloud on Broadway, after having her liver transplant. I visited her briefly and we enjoy the flowers in their garden.
