December 17: Overtime Exemption Salary Thresholds: The Current Rules and Future Considerations

On November 15, 2024, a federal court in Texas struck down, on a nationwide basis, the U.S. Department of Labor’s 2024 regulations that significantly increased the minimum salary thresholds for federal law overtime exemption status. These regulations already saw an increase go into effect this past July 2024, while a second increase had been scheduled for January 2025.
This webinar will discuss the current status of the salary threshold rules, the likely impact of a Trump 2.0 administration on the overtime exemption issue, and what employers should be doing now regarding employee classification.
