Wednesday I ws a guinea pig for science!
simultaneous motion capture and fluroscope of my foot walking (see the shiny dots? They have tantalum cores for the x-ray). They hope to be able to figure out gait issues more easily, eventually. My task was to walk at a normal pace and place part of my foot on a nigh-invisible X where the gadgets were aimed (half the time the ball of my foot, half the time just aft of the center of the sole), without stopping. This I did 7 out of 7 times, thanks to Boken exercise number 2, and thank you DiAnne Sensei, Philip Traunstein Sensei, and George Ledyard Sensei for that - your patient work contributed to science! !
