Much of what I do can be done standing. I must sit to take a proper BP reading, but otherwise my morning keyboarding can be done at my cat tree standing desk. (In my dream house, I will have a better standing desk!)
Today's morning yoga was Day 11 of a series. I'm hoping that by logging this, I will improve my compliance):
Kassandra's Thought For The Day: "I Am A Magnet For Miracles". Personally, I don't need the supernatural, but it is funny how good things just keep happening for me. Sure, bad stuff happens too, but in the long run, on the evidence: the balance is in my favor.
This evening I took the C bus to the Fauntleroy Y for a meeting of 34 Dems. It was ok, I guess, but the host was an ineffective speaker - many of his responses were that he didn't know the answers to basic political questions, such as what to say to people who did not want to vote for Biden because they are unhappy about Gaza. He said that was a hard one, which is useless. One guy said to tell them Trump was worse, but when it was my turn (and I started speaking out of turn because the host's comment was so useless) I said the first thing to do is to acknowledge the validity of their feelings, then engage the rationality.
