My south hawthorne still has fruit and leaves

My south hawthorne dropped its leaves and didn't fruit

My parking strip came with two hawthorne trees.One of my hawthornes produces tiny fruit, the other produces very sharp thorns. They probably embody some sort of fable. It's an invasive species, and quite prolific; I have to pull sprouts all the time. Still, they can be pretty and replacing them with something native would be difficult. It is interesting how their leafing behaviors differ.
