Dear Friend,
I am sorry to hear of your heavy loss.
I remember
when my mother passed;
it was difficult.
Yet even now,
when I face a problem,
I ask her what is right,
and the answer comes.
We all must go,
and yet something stays.
May their memory
be a blessing.

And before some fool complains about the use of "their" ... the original was in response to a friend who lost both a mother and a mother-in-law in a short time. I don't feel like changing this to pre-accommodate anyone who really should have asked their mother first.
