Delridge Day and Toastmasters

The day started raining, as I helped set up the fairgrounds as a volunteer from West Seattle Timebank. By the time the crowds arrived, the sun was out! I spent most of the day encouraging fairgoers with "We practice making presentations" with a bunch of new friends from other clubs. Then at end of day it was a couple hours tearing the fair down, and enjoying a cold brew at Ounces - Cheers!

Things I have seen delivered by drone

Bee Pollen

Trigger Warning

Here is the most horrible paragraph of my life, written to enlighten the gun debate we are now having. DO NOT read further if you have a tender heart ....
Somewhere, somewhen:
The last thing the young girl saw was her teacher's beloved face exploding in blood. She could not scream, because her jaw had been shot away. The last thing she heard was her best friend weeping because he could not keep his insides from spilling on the floor, his last meal mixing with bits of his liver.
Some consider this an acceptable price for the right of civilians to possess weapons of war.
Do you?
