Transplant Packets

It don't look like much, but one of the most fun things about having a variegated yard Is packaging up perennials to share. Here we have Periwinkle, Lamb's Ear, passion flower, miner's lettuce, and for some reason Ivy. Some of my best foliage I got this way, and I'm just passing it on!

Posting this on Facebook lead to one of the few disagreements between my friends. Trudy, my oldest friend and a seriously professional geographer, discouraged passing on ivy, since it's invasive. I agree; it's really nasty stuff. NaShea, a work friend and very self-actualized, says she likes invasives. Some times you just have to go "oh well!"
